Ms. Jockimo served as Executive Editor of the Pace Law Review from 1992 to 1993.

Areas of Practice

Ms. Jockimo handles all aspects of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, mediations and arbitrations and appeals. Her primary areas of practice are products liability defense, construction and labor law, premises liability, environmental law; age, sex and racial discrimination, automobile accidents; insurance coverage opinions, declaratory judgment actions and municipal liability.

Professional Experience

Ms. Jockimo's focus at Boeggeman, George & Corde  is the defense of complex tort matters from inception to appeal. She handles civil litigation matters in New York and Connecticut and has successfully argued cases in the First, Second and Third Departments as well as the appellate courts in Connecticut .

Ms. Jockimo frequently represents insurers, private clients, corporations, municipalities and third party administrators in complex tort litigation and insurance coverage disputes.

Professional History

Ms. Jockimo is an AV rated attorney who has been employed with Boeggeman, George & Corde, P.C. since graduating from law school in 1993. Ms. Jockimo became a partner in the firm in 2002.

Ms. Jockimo is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Defense Research Institute and the New York State Bar Association.

Publications and Seminars

Ms. Jockimo is a co-author of an article for the Defense Counsel Journal (January 2003) entitled "Self Critical Analysis Privilege in the Strict Liability Context". She is also the author of "The Admissibility of Subsequent Remedial Measures in a Products Liability Case", Products Liability Law Journal (1992).
