Richard G. Corde

Associated with law firm of Boeggeman, George & Corde, P.C. since admission in 1985, handling defense of cases from inception through trial. Mr. Corde became a partner in 1989. Mr. Corde is a frequent lecturer at the request of the Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel and the New York State Bar Association as well as a number of local bar associations and civic organizations. Mr. Corde is a senior trial attorney handling all aspects of general liability, product liability, premises liability, automobile liability and tort liability. He also handles mediations, arbitrations and appeals. He has performed these services for product manufacturers, insurance carriers, municipalities and self-insureds for over 30 years. He has taken over 300 jury verdicts during his legal career.

Robert S. Ondrovic

Mr. Ondrovic has been associated with the firm since 1994 and became a Partner in 1999, handling all aspects of general liability defense with an emphasis on trial practice. He also has extensive experience with Alternative Dispute Resolution including Mediations and Arbitrations and has acted as a Court appointed Neutral Arbitrator in three member panel arbitrations. He also is an Arbitrator appointed by Justice Alan D. Scheinkman, Administrative Judge for the Ninth Judicial District, to hear and decide Part 137 arbitrations of attorney/client fee disputes. Additionally, he has lectured on trial practice as part of Continuing Legal Education programs sponsored by local bar associations.

Mr. Ondrovic, AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, has conducted approximately 300 trials and taken approximately 200 verdicts over his 30-year career as a Trial Attorney in approximately 25 counties throughout the State of New York, including Federal Courts and the Court of Claims. On the appellate level, he has authored and argued Appeals in each of the Four Departments of the Appellate Division and in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Ondrovic's clientele has included corporate clients such as The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company together with insurance carriers including New York Central Mutual Fire Insurance Company, MetLife Auto and Home, Lancer Insurance, EMC Insurance, Selective Insurance and Summit Risk.

Karen A. Ondrovic

Ms. Ondrovic has been associated with the firm since 1994 and became a Partner in 2002, handling all aspects of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, mediations, arbitrations and appeals. Her primary areas of practice include products liability defense, construction and labor law, premises liability, environmental law; age, sex and racial discrimination, automobile accidents; insurance coverage opinions and declaratory judgment actions and municipal liability.

Ms. Ondrovic, AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, manages civil litigation matters both in New York and Connecticut and has successfully argued cases in the First, Second and Third Departments as well as the appellate courts in Connecticut.

Ms. Ondrovic frequently represents insurers, private clients, corporations, municipalities and third party administrators in complex tort litigation and insurance coverage disputes including A&P, Waldbaum’s, Pathmark, Food Emporium, Selective Insurance, Summit Risk, Village of Tuckahoe and Electrolux. Paul A. Hurley

Mr. Hurley, has been associated with the firm since 1997 and became a Partner in 2002, handling all aspects of general liability defense with an emphasis on trial practice out of the firms Albany office. His areas of practice include motor vehicle, premises liability, Labor Law, products liability, insurance coverage and professional liability cases. Mr. Hurley also handles residential real estate transactions and argues appeals in the Appellate Division, Third and Fourth Departments.

Mr. Hurley frequently deals with insurance companies that retain the firm to represent their respective insured’s in general liability cases from inception through trial.

Daniel E. O'Neill

Mr. O'Neill has been associated with the firm since 2001. He is a litigator handling professional liability cases and cases involving municipal law, personal injury, premises liability, insurance coverage, land use and civil rights litigation. He also represents municipal corporations and individuals in personal injury, property damage and insurance coverage cases.

Mr. O'Neill routinely handles 42 USC § 1983 cases involving, First, Fourteenth and Fourth Amendment claims against of municipal corporations and against municipal officials.

Jeremy D. Platek, of counsel

Mr. Platek became associated with the firm in April 2016, prior to that he began his career in the antitrust department of Skadden Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and later moved on to the general litigation practice of Coudert Brothers. Since then, he has practiced for over 15 years as a trial lawyer in the Civil Defense area. His early background enabled him to hone his writing and research skills and address complex issues in large, sophisticated litigation as well as representing multi-national corporations before the government. He has put these skills to immense use in the latter part of his career as a trial lawyer in his ability to take complex legal issues and facts and filter them down to their simplest essence, whether they are being presented to a Judge or Appellate Panel in a Motion or Brief, or in front of a jury during closing argument.

Mr. Platek has represented large and small property owners, construction manager, general contractors, contractors, insurers, professionals and employers and has tried over 40 cases in New York, Queens, Bronx, Kings, Westchester and Nassau Counties in New York State and various counties in Connecticut as well as the Federal Courts in both states. The cases have involved in a wide range of subject matter including products liability, general negligence, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, property damage, insurance coverage, breach of fiduciary duty, DRAM shop violations, negligent security and construction accidents.

Cynthia Dolan, of counsel

Associated with firm since 2002, handling defense of cases including pleadings, motion practice, depositions and appellate practice in Federal and State Courts. Ms. Dolan has ten years of appellate experience having written and/or orally argued over 100 appeals in New York State and Federal courts. Ms. Dolan's state court experience has been in the area of general liability defense. She has litigated cases involving premises liability, New York State Civil Service Law, Executive Law, Insurance Law, General Municipal Law, Labor Law, Vehicle and Traffic Law, false arrest and imprisonment, malicious prosecution, slander, defamation, products liability and Article 78 proceedings.
